You Want All-Star Weekend Predictions? N.O. Problem...
We all know that the no-defense, pro-fast-break shootaround more commonly referred to as the NBA All-Star Game takes place in the New Orleans Arena on Sunday. We know that the weekend would be a lot duller without all of Friday and Saturday's festivities, too. What we didn't know -well, not before now we didn't- was who the winners would be in the various all-star events. Feeling your plight, the Nosebleed Section went to a Bourbon Street psychic and got a few things answered...
T-Mobile Rookie Challenge MVP
- Though the 20 ppg that Kevin Durant offers every night might carry over here, we like the confidence in Rudy Gay's game of late.Playstation Skills Challenge Winner
-It's a sad state of affairs when Shaq's departure and Dwyane Wade's repeat in the skills challenge are the highlights of the Heat's season.Foot Locker Three-Point Champion
-Though last year's winner Jason Kapono and late entry Dirk Nowitzki might make things interesting, it's hard to root against Peja Stojakovic's sweet shot in front of the home crowd.Sprite Slam Dunk Champion
- Dwight Howard was robbed the last time he entered this thing. This year he's got a chip on his shoulder so big that Rookie MVP Gay won't be able to do anything with.NBA All-Star Game MVP
- With a sense of don't-forget-about-me running through Allen Iverson and D-Wade's bodies, LeBron James will have his work cut out if he's to get the game's top honor. But ultimately, no matter how hard anyone else tries, the trophy will go home with No. 23.

Damn straight Dwight was robbed last year. Which makes Saturday all the more exciting to watch - the kid's out for blood:

The one stunt he does, the mid-air, bounce-off-the-backboard, left-hand-right-hand dunk, that's sick. My money's on him for winner.
