Because it’s the first game on the schedule –and honestly, because it’s got by far the worst name on the bowl list- you may be inclined to skip this one. But that wouldn’t be the wisest move to make because both TCU (10-2) and Northern Illinois (7-5) feature players worthy of your Tuesday night attention. The Horned Frogs’ fourth-ranked rush defense is suffocating while NIU’s Garrett Wolfe is a poor man version of Warrick Dunn—grossly undersized but blessed with the heart and horsepower of an All-American. But even if he isn’t exhausted from a headline-capturing season, the Huskies will still lose 24-14.

Interesting Fact: Wolfe, the nation’s leading rusher this season, is NIU’s career leader in touchdowns, rushing yards and 100-yard rushing games.
